Cannabis Art Gallery Trading Regulations

If you are an owner of an CAG art piece, and you would like to resell the art piece, there are a couple of regulations that you, as seller, are obligated to follow in order to maintain the art piece status.

The CAG follows different procedures in order to protect CAG collectors and their art piece. To proceed this protecting procedure, you, as owner, have to follow certain rules in order to support this procedure.

If, you, as owner, does not follow the CAG guidelines and regulations, you, as owner, are taking the risk in receiving an unsupported by CAG status for your art piece and/or risking in receiving any legal consequences.

The main regulations that need to be followed during the trading activities are mentioned below.:

  • The physical and digital assets of the art piece, are not allowed to be sold separately. During the sale of one of the assets, you, as owner, are obligated to send and sell, both the physical and digital asset of the art piece. During the usage of CAG storage service, you are able to sell only the physical or digital asset, but do understand, that the asset, that is stored by the CAG, is after sale no longer your asset, but the asset of the new owner.

  • If you are interested in selling your art piece, you are obligated to inform the Cannabis Art Gallery. The CAG will label your art piece "open for transfer" in their internal database.

  • If you later sold your art piece, you have to inform the CAG again, stating you sold the art piece. The CAG will label your art piece as "transferred to new owner" From this point, you are no longer the legal owner of the art piece. The art piece status will be changed and updated after the new owner of the art piece contacted CAG. CAG is then able to update their internal database.

If you, as owner, does not contact the CAG about the transfer of the art piece, the new owner is not possible to request ownership, of the art piece the collector recently bought from you. This can result in the CAG not supporting the art piece anymore. This is implemented to protect the art piece from any duplications or theft. Because of this procedure, the owner of a stolen or duplicated art piece, is not able to request ownership, update the database, the art piece profile page, or use any CAG services. If the CAG suspect that the art piece is duplicated or stolen, the CAG will first contact the last registered owner, support the owner where possible, and give the art piece a "Not supported by the CAG" status. This status indicates that the CAG no longer support any trading activities in this art piece, this can result in the art piece loosing its value.

  • The CAG strongly suggest not to resell the art piece below its value.

  • The CAG strongly suggest informing the new owner about the CAG and its "new ownership application" procedure.

  • The CAG strongly suggest informing collectors from the community that an art piece will enter the market.

  • The CAG strongly suggest using the CAG services as much as possible.

  • The CAG strongly suggest deleting and destroying all files and materials displaying the art piece, since you are now not the legal owner of the art piece anymore.

  • The CAG strongly suggest to make clear trading agreements with the potential buyer.

The CAG is not legally bounded or responsible for any trading activities, the CAG is only able to support and advise collectors before and during trading activities. The CAG follows a strict equality procedure, inciting, you as CAG art collector and trader would proceed with the same intention.

The CAG remind everyone that there is the possibility that a legal case can be initiated towards any individual that; steals, disrespect or scam any CAG collector.

"Only together we can make the world a better place, and it starts with respecting each and any individual."
