The Cannabis Art Gallery's mission
The Cannabis Art Gallery's mission is to represent the cannabis plant as a luxurious and beautiful flower.
The cannabis plant is in the last 75 years represented as dangerous,
while it is now the time to represent the plant as something special.
Cannabis Art Gallery focus, is to support the cannabis movement and to represent the cannabis plant as it deserves.
The Cannabis Art Gallery takes the cannabis plant from the criminal underground, and place the cannabis plant back, into the outside world, back into our society.
The art piece creation
The Cannabis Art Gallery selects a special cannabis plant from its network of growers, then decides the right location and time to create the perfect picture of the cannabis plant.
The Cannabis Art Gallery release one collection at the time, each collection has its own theme and a total of six pictures. The six pictures are then framed and created into an art piece.
There only exist one unique art piece, the authenticity is protected by a serial code, authenticity certificate and by its own non-fungible token (NFT).
The Cannabis Art Gallery need the right momentum to create the perfect picture, therefore the releases of collections are rare and
non-sequential.
The art piece content
The art piece from the CAG exist out of two parts, a physical part, and a digital part. Combining the physical art piece with its own NFT, protects the art piece authenticity.
This is also referred to as a phygital art piece.
Each art piece from the CAG has its own profile webpage. On this profile page, you will find all the information that is available about the art piece. Including: the plant details,
info about the creation, current owner, location, social links and a link to its own NFT.
The physical art piece comes with an art piece title plague, on this plague a QR-code will be placed, linking to the art piece profile page. Visitors can scan the QR-code to view the art piece unique specifications.
The physical and digital asset
Combining the physical and digital assets of the art together, creates a unique perception on the art industry we all known today.
You are now not only able to display your art in the physical world, but also in the virtual world of web3.
With the usage of the Cannabis Art Gallery services, you are able to store the physical art piece at one of the CAG classified locations.
This makes; buying, holding and selling the NFT of the art piece more efficient.
Or, if you are only interested in the physical art piece, the CAG offers the option to hold the NFT for you.

In order to create this unique art, the Cannabis Art Gallery team has to balance between the legal system and social acceptance.
Due to the fact that cannabis is still not completely legal in Amsterdam, finding, growing and transporting cannabis plants is still a challenging task.
The Cannabis Art Gallery mostly focus, on placing the cannabis plant outside, in society. But due to the cannabis plant not being socially accepted (yet), raises this a lot of attention during the photoshoots. Making it even more difficult to create the right picture.

If you are only interested in the NFT of the physical art piece, the Cannabis Art Gallery offers you the option to store your physical art piece in their classified and secured location. The art piece is then protected from any theft and damages. This gives you the opportunity to trade and collect NFT's of the CAG art without the issue of safely storing and shipping the physical art piece(s).

The Cannabis Art Gallery follows an authenticity protection protocol in order to minimize any theft, scams, and reproduction of your art piece. This gives you the guarantee that you are really the only person that owns this individual art piece.
